Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor who is best recognized for her role as House in the Fox the medical thriller House. Born in Wayne in conservative Jewish tradition, she moved in New York City at the age of 18 and began studying acting at the Tisch School of Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the club scene in New York. Her performances were so impressive that the local press took note. In the end, she utilized her education as well her fame to compose and write a musical called Positive Me and also starred in the film. Shortly thereafter she landed the job of MTV and was the host of Awake to the Wild Side. After Awake on The Wild Side stopped airing, she started acting in movies as well as on TV, starting with short role. As time went on, her work as an actress grew.
